CommentsSo while it may seem odd to give away something that has been said to "stifle" podcasting http://internetnews.com/storage/article.php/3459051 I think the iPod shuffle is actually well-suited to podcasting... Here's why: So while we can't all be like Lagerfield and have a custom iPod for every music genre, it isn't beyond the reach of mere mortals to have an iPod for all the music, and a shuffle for the spoken word. Cool! Posted by: superpixel I agree. Everybody ragged on the shuffle before it came out....but having tried it, it's pretty cool. I've got one of those cassette car CD adapters, and just plug it right into the top of the shuffle. Completely low-fi, but it sounds fantastic. The competition will have these cloned for $30 bucks in a year...who knows what Apple will come up with then! Posted by: jlewin We just got the iPod shuffle in by mail. Apple went for total overkill shipping packaging. The box is about 18" x 18" x 12", then you open it and there's all this crushed Kraft paper filler with a tiny iPod shuffle box in the middle. We're going to keep the massive packaging so that when we ship it out, the recipient will think they are getting the biggest iPod shuffle ever! Posted by: jlewin Post a comment |
