Orb Intros On-the-Fly "Orbcasting" of Podcasts

Thanks for the shout-out, PN!

We created this functionality for Podcasters and their fans, so let me know what you think of it, what you want to see supported in future versions, etc.

We're basically trying to make it one-click-easy to add your fave Podcasts to Orb - something I and other users do manually today. Most recently, I've added Prairie Beacon News at http://odeo.com/channel/2356/view, which I discovered thanks to Bob's writing in to us here at Orb. I'm looking forward to listening to it on my phone on the drive home this evening.

And that's a decent example of how Orbcasting tries to extend the Podcasting experience. I could use my iPod, sure, but that'd mean planning ahead. Orbcasting brings spontaneity and real-time access from anywhere into the picture.
