Apple has announced that there are now more than 1,000 accessories made specifically for iPod.
According to Apple, "the iPod economy has flourished with over 21 million iPods sold and a wide range of companies creating products ranging from high-end fashion cases to speaker systems to automobile integration kits for iPod."
Apple also announced that there are more than 700 products bearing the Made for iPod logo on the market or in development.
"The iPod economy is thriving with over 1,000 accessories now available," said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPod Product Marketing. "There are more ways than ever to get the perfect accessory to complement your iPod for use at home, on the go and in the car."
