Get a Sony CD over the holidays? If so, check to see if it's on the list of titles that can install dangerous "spyware" on your PC.
Despite Sony recalling the CDs with XCP Content Protection Technology, there have been many reports of these still being available in stores.
Sony has a list of the affected CDs at their site.
Some security analysts suggest avoiding any CDs that use content protection technology. One way to avoid them is to look for a printed message on the CD explaining compatibility:
