FeedBurner has added support for the tickerization of financial feeds and podcasts and will look for references to stock ticker symbols and create the appropriate metadata elements for readers. FinancialContent, the parent company of StreetIQ.com, worked to create these specifications in an effort to organize and standardize financial-related feeds for their customers. "FeedBurner offers our clients a very sophisticated product which is now compatible with our financial content management platform," said Wing Yu, CEO of FinancialContent."By partnering with FeedBurner, we are providing a robust upgrade path for customers that use Finesse, our RSS management platform." FinancialContent will provide support for the migration of its users from Finesse 1.1 to FeedBurner. "We are pleased to be working with both StreetIQ.com and FinancialContent," said Rick Klau, Vice President of Business Development at FeedBurner."Support for stock ticker symbols enables our publishers to expand their reach to investment professionals in the financial services industry."
