Dragon Crest International has released Podsage, a new freeware podcast and videocast client.
Podsage has an built-in library of links to over 27,000 Podcasts; 240,000 Episodes; 100 OPML Sites; and 1,800 categories. It supports subscription for podcasts and OPML, together with subscribed downloads they can be scheduled daily, weekly, monthly etc.
A unique feature is its ability to automatically categorize and cross-index podcasts. Podsage also automatically filters duplicates and senses non-podcast entries.
Podcasts can also be managed through favorites, subscriptions and exclusion selections.
