EarthCore, an science fiction novel that premiered as a podcast is now being sold as an audio book via iTunes.
According to author Scott Sigler, the novel features "killer robots, dismemberments, decapitations, machine guns, actual science, blood, blood & more blood, and a super-hot villainess who dabbles in S&M."
The novel was launched in March 2005 as a free, weekly, serialized podcast. It has since been released as a print novel by publisher Dragon Moon Press.
"EarthCore ran as a free podcast with weekly, 45-minute episodes. Now that it's finished, there's over 15 hours of unabridged audio book sitting there," Sigler said. "It's exactly the same book you can buy on Amazon.com. The exact words of the author, read by the author."
EarthCore is now available via the iTunes store as a $9.99 download.
