"You know, you keep on innovating, you keep on making better stuff," notes Jobs. "And if you always want the latest and greatest, then you have to buy a new iPod at least once a year." Jobs is quoted in an interview about the new Apple Manhattan store. "As the technology keeps moving and lets us do more and more, we want to bring customers with that, not just leave them using stuff that they could do five years ago," notes Jobs. via MSNBC CommentsOf course he wants us to buy a new iPod at least once a year. Anyone that knows anything about technology realizes that nearly the instant you walk out of the store, the damn device is already outdate :) You've just got to be willing to say WTH and make your choice. Posted by: Janine at May 29, 2006 03:55 AM Is this really surprising? The real question is whether Steve actually thinks this way or is just another way to get people to upgrade their crappy-pods for the newest version that has SNAP ON COVERS OMG!!! Its not like iPods are computers... they hardly NEED to be updated every year, come on... its just an MP3 player only -much more expensive. Posted by: Sean at May 30, 2006 02:51 PM Post a comment |
