The Glencoe Media Center, which will host the downloadable MP3 audio and video files, will be fully accessible in the fall of 2006. The iPod/MP3 player compatible programs will allow students to download audio and video content to accompany lessons, enhancing learning in - and out - of the classroom. "We combine our authoritative digital content with cutting-edge technologies to support any aspect of learning - from student enrichment tools and formative assessment systems to intervention programs and professional development materials," said Steven McClung, president of Glencoe/McGraw-Hill. A preview of these new programs will be featured by Apple as iPod content during the upcoming National Education Computing Conference in San Diego from July 5-7, 2006.
