Joanne Colan: Not Booming, but Blogging

July 10, 2006

joanne_colan_hot_120.jpgWhile Rocketboom fans wait to see the debut of Joanne Colan, the former MTV host has introduced a new blog site, JoanneColan.net.

Colan signs her introduction Joanne C., Host of Rocketboom.com.

Colan was originally scheduled to debut today, but a note at the site says to expect new episodes starting Tuesday, July 11th.

Not everybody is ready for Colan to declare herself host of Rocketboom. One commenter at her site writes:

hello joanne c. im sure your wonderful at what you do but just so you know you'll never be as good or as popular as amanda. first off because most people only watch for her shes the original and the face of RB not you and secondly your british ya know with amanda she is american so she can say what she wants but your a foreigner so your comments will just come off as elitist critisism that you have no place saying. oh and one last thing i hope you know that you may call yourself the hostess of RB but i think most everyone on the internet will agree with me that that title shall forever be amanda congdon's.

According to the Rocketboom site, viewers should find out Tuesday if Colan's comments come off as elitist criticism, or if she lives up to her monicker, the hottest woman on the planet.

Comments

This Colan person is not the hottest woman on the planet. Nor is Amanda Congdon. They are attractive women who may or may not be smart and creative and funny.
There are many other things going on in the world -- in the podcasting world, even -- that are far more important, and far more interesting, than whether Hottie A or Hottie B is fulfilling your podcast masturbatory fantasy.
Get over it, and start covering some real Podcasting News.

No I'm sorry. Congdon is the hottest woman ever.
