The objective for the new document is to standardize the definitions of the most commonly used streaming advertising formats.

Live webcasting startup Flixwagon announced today that it was testing live “high-quality” video streaming from unlocked iPhones to the web, using Flixwagon’s alpha client.

Disney To Stream Full-Length Movies Online

Disney announced today that for the first time, the company will stream its full-length movies online.
The films will first air on ABC as part of the network’s weekly Wonderful World of Disney presentation on Saturday nights throughout summer 2008. The full-length films will then be available for free streaming online for the following week.

YouTube is looking for citizen journalists.

“People around the world have been using YouTube to report on the events and issues affecting their lives, shedding light on stories that might otherwise not be told and offering new perspectives on events covered by the traditional media,” notes YouTube’s Olivia M. “To highlight these journalists on YouTube, we’re announcing the launch of the Reporter channel type.”
