Bodelin has updated ProPrompter (App Store link), its $9.99 app that turns your iPhone into a teleprompter.

ProPrompter can be used in conjunction with an iPhone camera mount to create a cheap teleprompting system.

  • Smooth scrolling teleprompter software
  • Remote Control your scroll pace with a second device installed with the ProPrompter app
  • Create or edit scripts in the text editor
  • Import text by copy/paste from email or from ProPrompter Producer site
  • Choose background color, font, font size, and font color
  • ALL CAPS option for any font selection
  • Landscape, Portrait and Automatic prompter orientation
  • Multiple scroll speed selections with on-the-fly adjustment during prompting
  • Cue points for fast re-cueing
  • Adjustable countdown
  • Loop function for multiple takes
  • Mirror function for use with true in-lens ProPrompter teleprompters
  • Extensive help menu

The company has announced plans to support the Apple iPad with their ProPrompter HD.

ProPrompter software allows you to use your iPhone or iPod touch as a smooth scrolling professional teleprompter. Scripts can be loaded via email copy/paste (OS3) or via the free ProPrompter Producer site. Scripts can also be created directly in the application. You can also edit any script loaded in the ProPrompter software.

ProPrompter software features full professional settings for fonts, font sizes, background colors, scroll speeds, mirroring, looping, landscape, portrait and automatic orientation modes, adjustable countdown, cue points for fast re-cueing, support for international language fonts, editing, direct script creation, and a complete help menu. Scrolling is smooth and can be adjusted on-the-fly. Readability is excellent even in bright sunlight. If you have two devices (iPhones and/or iPod touchs) and each have the ProPrompter app installed, one device can remotely control the other device’s scroll pace via a wireless Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection.

Attach your iPhone or iPod touch to any camera with the ProPrompter Wing or the new in-lens ProMag.
