Propellerhead Software To Hold Producer Conference In San Francisco

Get Propellerhead Reason at zZounds!

Saturday, November 11, 2006

propellerhead software producer conference

Propellerhead Software has announced The Producers Conference, to be held Saturday, November 18th, 2006 at the Recombinant Labs in San Francisco. Propellerhead Software have developed the conference to further the company’s mission, to bring artists closer to their musical ambitions and to bring artists and producers together who wish to get the most out of their productions using Reason.

Featuring N.W.A founding member, Arabian Prince and IDM sound design wizard and Propellerhead Reason guru, James Bernard, both artists will lead clinics on their creative approach using their tools of choice within Reason.

The all day event will also feature clinics on maximizing the NN-XT sampler, the Combinator, as well as creative workflow for producing patches, sounds, and refills. The Conference will also include a final session where selected tracks submitted by attendees will go through a class review for tips, tricks, enhancements, & suggestions.

Additional Conference Classes will also be taught by:

  • Berkleemusic course author, instructor and prolific writer for Remix, Electronic Musician and others, Erik Hawkins.
  • Propellerhead guru and author of Powertools for Reason, Kurt Kurasaki aka Peff.
  • Propellerhead Product Specialist, Hayden Bursk.

As part of the conference offerings, Korg will provide a number of keyboard and drumpad MIDI controllers for use onsite, where their ease of use and tight integration with Reason will be highlighted. They'll also be offering an on-site discount to conference attendees who wish to purchase one of these units.

The Recombinant Labs in San Francisco provides full sound, audio, video, and screens to showcase the sound and incredible potential of Reason based music solutions.

As an added value to our registered user base, The Producers Conference will be free for registered Reason users who provide proof of registration on the day of the event. For all other attendees, this all day interactive learning session is only $99/person. Additionally, all attendees will receive a free copy of the ASK Video Reason Tutorial DVD.

More information is available at the Propellerheads site.
