Curry Podcast Battles For Top Spot
(Podcasting News, Des Moines, IA) - Adam Curry's popular podcast, Daily Source Code, appears to be making a run for the top spot of the Podcasting News Top 10 Podcast list. The podcast pioneer's show jumped from seventh place in April to join Science@NASA and the Seanachi, a weekly show of off-center storytelling and commentary, as the top three podcasts.
In May, Weekend America joined the top 10, pushing IT Conversations off of the list.

Podcasting News ranks the popularity of podcasts based on the activity of visitors using the site's Podcast Directory. The Podcasting News directory is a user-edited collection of the best podcasts available. Podcasting is a technology for automatically distributing audio programs, typically in MP3 format, to portable digital audio players. Podcasts are rapidly becoming an important source of audio content on the web.
Podcasters create audio programs (podcasts) and save them to a web server. They also publish an XML-based news feed that lists their most recent shows.
