TubeMogul has announced a new service, TubeMogul Marketplace, that is designed to hook up video producers with advertisers:

MediaWeek reports that podcasters Gretchen Vogelzang and Paige Heninger, hosts of the successful MommyCast podcast, have made a deal with Media Rights Capital to produce at least 120 original video segment.

Despite the success of Hulu, a lot of people seem to be struggling with the simple idea that people want free, ad-supported Internet television.

Spending on Internet advertising will grow from $65.2 billion in 2008 to $106.6 billion worldwide in 2011, about 15-20% per year, according to research firm IDC.
