The BBC today introduced an updated version of the BBC iPlayer, which fully combines radio and TV in one interface.

The BBC has announced that it will broadcast BBC1 live to the Internet, making it the first of the BBC’s stations to be simulcast online. BBC1 will be available via bbc.co.uk, which is being relaunched.

The BBC has announced that its iPlayer video service will soon be available via the Nintendo Wii.

The BBC has announced that their controversial iPlayer on-demand video application has been downloaded over a million times, and that users have viewed over 3.5 million programs.
BBC research reveals that an average of a quarter of a million programs have been downloaded or streamed each day since 25 December.

Podcast.com announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas its list of the “Top 10 Podcasts of the Year” for 2007, in conjunction with media aggregation/distribution company Treedia.com, which created the feed management platform used at Podcast.com.
