Apple today updated its MacBook Pro line of notebooks with the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors, memory up to 4GB, and high-speed graphics. Apple has announced financial results for its fiscal 2007 second quarter ended March 31, 2007:
The Company posted revenue of $5.26 billion and net quarterly profit of $770 million, or $.87 per diluted share.

Sales of Apple Macintosh computers grew 30% year-to-year in the first quarter of 2007, despite interest in Microsoft’s newly introduced Vista operation system.
The growth in units sold for all computer vendors was 2.9%, making the growth in Mac sales 10 times the industry average.
