A Chicago woman is suing Kazaa, a controversial person-to-person file-sharing network, on behalf of customers sued by the RIAA for “Shared File Folders”*.
The lead plaintiff, Catherine Lewan, is a Kazaa customer who was sued by the RIAA for her use of Kazaa, and paid a settlement to the RIAA.

LimeWire has filed a claim against the RIAA for antitrust violations, consumer fraud, and other misconduct.
LimeWire claims (PDF) that the music industry conspired to destroy any online music distribution service they did not own or control, or force such service to do business with them on an exclusive and/or other anticompetitive terms.
