I like it. Lots of features for this little 2 pound contraption. It looks like it records the multiple tracks to a proprietary file format. (HiFi (MT2) Roland/BOSS original format) Is this kind of file able to be opened, separated, and edited in Cubase. I figure it probably includes it’s own software, but I really don’t feel like learning a new program.

If it’s anything like the Micro BR then you can master the tracks out to MP3 or WAV. Also since it’s SD card based you will also most likely be able to import/export the individual tracks into WAV format using Boss’ free BRCW utility.

I really like the look of this recorder.

Does anyone know if you can create original dum patterns on this machine?

I know you could on Boss Br 600, 900CD, 1200CD etc but there doesn’t seem to be any pads for you to hit in orderto play the digital drums on this paticular one. Usually they come with velocity pads or the track selectors can act as pads.
